FAQ: Custom Itinerary Service
How does the custom itinerary planning process work?
After filling out the initial inquiry form, Tiff will send you a questionnaire to learn more about the type of dream trip you wish to plan, jump on a call to learn more about you and your trip goals, create the custom trip itinerary, and send it to you—all within a few days from order purchase.
What types of trips do you specialize in?
Road trips in the western USA, hiking and camping trips, backpacking trips (specializing in CA, CO, UT, AZ) but open to more, adventure travel trips.
How much lead time do you need to plan a trip?
Once we get all the details, the trip planning portion can take up to 72 hours before you have your dream itinerary in your inbox.
What if I need to change my itinerary after booking?
You are welcome to shift your plans to best fit your trip after you receive your itinerary; however, if you need Tiff to change your itinerary completely once the planning process has begun, this will require an additional fee.
Do you handle permits?
No, client will book everything him/ herself. Tiff does not handle any bookings, but will advise you on the appropriate permits for you to lock down.
Do you handle booking accommodations and activities, or just provide recommendations?
Tiff’s travel planning service just provides recommendations and does not handle any direct bookings.
Is this service right for solo travelers, couples, or groups?
This service is good for all travelers seeking to spend time on the road &/or in the great outdoors.
Do you help with permits or park reservations?
Tiff’s itinerary will advise you on the exact permits necessary for the trip and any additional park reservations needed.
What’s the difference between your group trips and this itinerary planning service?
For group trips that Tiff hosts, she is physically on site for the trip experience and handles every detail of the trip after clients sign up. For the itinerary planning service, Tiff will custom curate unique itineraries for each client, tailored to their specific trip goals, whether it is a multi-day hiking itinerary, a road trip with fun sights to see, or a quick weekend getaway packed with adventure and sights.
What if I need support during my trip?
Tiff does not handle any support while you are off on your trip. You will have all necessary information before your trip and the rest is up to you so be prepared to adventure on your own once you get your itinerary
